Frequently Asked Questions
What is a ComPrac?
A supported learning environment that facilitates access to experts as well as social interaction and collaborations, to share expertise and increase exposure to a particular area of knowledge, in this case, the application of economic evaluation principles to practice.
What will the ComPrac include?
Facilitated online, fully recorded workshops on how to apply economic evaluation principles to your work and a network of health service managers both within and outside of your organisation. Topical and relevant articles and resources will be regularly made available. Specific details will be emailed to you upon enrolment.
Who should enrol?
Current or emerging executives, managers and clinicians who make decisions to improve the value of the programs, services, initiatives or technology for which they are responsible.
How will the ComPrac be delivered?
Online via Microsoft Teams.
How much will it cost?
The ComPrac is free of charge for staff from organisations participating in the embedded Economist program funded by NSW Regional Health Partners and Health Translation SA.
What is the relationship between the ComPrac and the university course?
The course provides the theory and tools to apply economic evaluation principles to your work. The ComPrac builds capacity by providing examples and coaching from experts in applying economic evaluation skills and tools, and by facilitating networking with others both within and outside of your health service.
